Took a little nap after a full day of traveling from NJ to HI then got up to watch my first Hawaiian sunrise. Hiked the Diamond Head crater — so busy, but worth it for the view! Also, yes, I purchased a selfie stick specifically for this trip and am still learning the logistics of how to selfie.

This was by far the toughest hike I've ever done! The trail is made up of over 1,000 abandoned railroad ties and is basically straight up. Wouldn't have made it up without the moral support of this guy. My legs and booty are still sore but the views were worth it!

February 2019

First of all, can we talk about this amazing koozie my brother and his girlfriend got me for Christmas? Second of all, how gorgeous are these views from the Lanikai Pillbox Hike?

I had a bit of a temper tantrum (alone in the car) because I was tired, hungry, slightly hungover, and spent 30 minutes looking for parking, but forced myself up the trail and it was well worth it.

Got in the chopper and explored Oahu from the air. Can't even describe with words what an incredible experience it was so I'll let the photos do the talking. If you get the chance, take a tour with Mauna Loa Helicopters!

This trip has really fueled my guava obsession and I ain't even mad. Had a time getting wrecked bodysurfing the infamous shorebreak at Sandy Beach — still finding sand in places I didn't even know existed on the human body.
