I think I've tried In-N-Out every year since 2014, and every year I can't quite tell what the all the hype is about. But hey, to each their own (my own is Five Guys, if you're wondering).
Park Pizza & Brewing Company in Orlando, FL
I'm gonna be real honest with you: finding good food in Florida has been a s t r u g g l e. But I finally found it at Park Pizza in Lake Nona and I'm STOKED because they brew their own beer too!
Cafe du Monde in New Orleans, LA
Also a NOLA must-do: coffee and beignets from Cafe du Monde. Horse and carriage ride optional.
Crescent City Brewhouse in New Orleans, LA
First time in NOLA, obviously had to:
1. Visit the French Quarter
2. Eat some fresh gumbo, and most importantly,
3. Drink local beer!
Las Vegas, NV
Spent all of August flying to and from Vegas in the middle of the night, never knowing what gorgeous landscapes were right below. Finally had a chance to see it all during the day while prepping for Hurricane Dorian by getting flown home on Southwest a day earlier than planned and wasn't disappointed!
Garde of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO
Did you know: the Garden of the Gods was originally going to be a beer garden? It's absolutely stunning as it is now, but... Why can't we have both?
The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO
Colorado Springs, CO
Unfortunately only had about 36 hours to visit beautiful Colorado, but managed to fit in some down time, sip on tea, and take in this stunning view.
Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton, CO
Quick pit stop at Breck Brew before heading to Colorado Springs! Fun fact: Breckenridge Vanilla Porter was one of the first craft beers I ever had. Now that my beer palate has matured exponentially (sorry, liver), it was awesome to give a few more of their beers a try!
Indian Harbour Beach, FL
Had a blast celebrating Alyssa’s 30th birthday! Suckered into buying the Goose Island SPF passion fruit ale bc of its beautiful packaging. I wasn't exactly disappointed by the taste (it's for sure a good day drinking option) but it was both too close, yet not close enough to a sour for me to reaaallllllyyyy like it.
Neon Museum in Las Vegas, NV
Braved the heat to check out some OG Vegas signage. Would be sick to see this place at night all lit up!
Hyatt Place Las Vegas, NV
It seems Vegas is quickly becoming my second home. After exploring the Strip, bopping around Downtown, and owning the penny slots, sometimes it's nice to just kick back poolside with a good beer and a great book (starting the Harry Potter series over again)
