I was fortunate enough to spend a month living on the Venice canals a few years back, so I was excited to get back there during a long L.A. layover. Checked out the skate park, watched a bodybuilding competition, and survived a 6.6 earthquake, proving Venice Beach is still just as weird and extravagant as ever.
